Driven by a passion for neuroscience and improving lives through research, Kayla is conducting Alzheimer's disease biomarker research at the UCI Translational Neuroscience Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Yassa. She is committed to advancing early detection while inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders through service, innovation, and education.
